Bucerias is a bustling and ever growing tourist town just a short drive north of Puerto Vallarta. It is the first town north of Nuevo Vallarta on the Riviera Nayarit. Hugging tightly the coast with easy access to the ocean from any part of town, it is a favorite among long term vacationers and retirees as well as travellers by yacht. The main road that stretches from Puerto Vallarta crosses the town with the ocean visible to all passing on it. It is no wonder that new condos and homes are being developed in competition for the ocean view.

Bucerias means "place of the divers" and boasts some of the best tacos, beaches and shopping on the Riviera Nayarit.
